I don't teach how to shoot with complicated light schemes...
It's hard for me...
I very rarely use flash⚡...
I teach to look for the natural free light we have!
It's easier for me to get the model right or move to another point myself than to set up 3 or 4 flashes.
And if I'm shooting when it's dark. Then I point a permanent light source - an LED panel - at the face, and I point a photo torch🔦 at the back for a backlight effect.
